About the toolkit
In our research among voter protection efforts, we identified the need for a concentrated “primer” or “bootcamp” on how non-partisan voter protection staff and volunteers can identify and respond to AI disinformation -- a gap that exists nationally and in key states.
This toolkit will educate volunteers and staff of 501(c)(3) nonpartisan organizations in the field on the threat that AI-generated disinformation poses to our elections and provide them with practical tools and resources that they can use to respond. This project serves as a starting point, not a final stop, on our journey to better understand the role that disinformation and AI can play in our democracy.
We are hosting one national webinar on September 30. State webinars will follow in early October in WI, GA, PA, NC, AZ, MI and NV. On-demand materials will be available online immediately following webinars.
In addition to our webinars, you can find written materials and resource guides below, which we encourage you to share with your team and within your networks in the voter protection space.
